EVA SOKOLOV, aged 19
Oni-Tsukai/Gyoseisha, Senshi

The leader of the Vucari, and a Bounceback - that is, a Touched operative with the ability to absorb 99% of any form of kinetic energy that is thrown her way. She graduated at the top of her class in a Russian Hunting Academy affiliated with Zhezelo, Zangyaku's power base in the Russian Federation.

Eva's mercilessness on the battlefield and flippant attitude are rooted in her strong desire to wipe Grendal out completely. Her parents were soldiers in the Russian army, and were among the first to fall during Grendal's initial invasion on Russian soil.

ERI FUKUZAWA, aged 14
Oni-Tsukai/Isha, Senshi

The youngest member of the Vucari, hailing from the Heartspire in New Atlantis. She was accelerated several times and yet continously remained at the top of her class - unsurprising, given the fact that she is the daughter of Tohru Fukuzawa (the Assassin of the Searing Wind) and the younger sister of the Blade King himself.

Eri is the only member of her blade, at present, with no supernatural powers. This doesn't seem to hobble her in the slightest.

CELLO RETNAM, aged 19
Oni-Tsukai/Nami, Whisperers

A Battle Minstrel who trained with the Order of the Minstrels since she was six years old, and ended up entering Seigi by merit of graduating at the top of her class, and because of her keen interest in becoming a Keeper of the Vigil.

Cello is estranged from her parents because of her gift. Her parents are staunchly anti-supernatural, and practically disowned her the moment she discovered her abilities. While Cello is incredibly vocal about her supposed apathy on how they are or what they are up to, it's obvious, at least to her blade mates, that she wants them to recognize her for who she is.

PETER WHITE, aged 21
Oni-Tsukai/Daishonin, Rashinban

Eva's second-in-command whose mild mannerisms off the field provide for a jarring experience for anyone who has seen him in a fight. He's a Gauru Blood Talon who graduated at the top of his class in a prestigious Academy that was closely affiliated with Evergeen, Netsach's main power base on Canadian soil.

Peter's keen interest in Keeping the Vigil is grounded upon his desire to help the Great Tribe of the People. He lost his siblings to Bale Hounds at an early age, and wants to do everything in his power to protect his parents - they're the only family he has left.

VINCENT CASTELO, aged 24
Oni-Tsukai/Gishi, Rashinban

The son of a Redeemed Tammuz Golem and a well-known Alchemist of the Golden Dawn's Chapter in Spain. Vincent entered his Academy on full scholarship, and was one of the top ten graduates of his batch AFTER graduating summa cum laude at the University of Madrid - hence, his transfer to Seigi.

Vincent (or Vinci, as his close friends call him) does not appear to be serious about anything at all. His comrades, though, know that this is a front: he's intensely focused on the field, and is hardest on himself and his own performance. He also appears to be perfectly content with letting the youngers of his blade take charge: he's more than content to offer the best kind of support that he can to them from the background.
